Nice review! It is indeed a great book for the reason you mentioned, it feels like a book for kids and adults instead of firmly being rooted in one or the other. I often buy several versions of Neil's books and need to pick up this version of Coraline as I love the lettering on the cover. I'm glad you had fun with it and hope you enjoy more of Neil's work soon.

Yay! I loved this one when I read it, and it's one I wouldn't mind reading again. The only other Gaiman I've picked up is American Gods, and I felt like (besides a GREAT premise) it was a little flat and uninteresting. I still have Neverwhere on my shelves, along with his short story collection, Smoke & Mirrors.
